Limestone Lab developed and realized The Hub by Social as a pivotal gathering place in Abu Dhabi’s Masdar City Central Park.
Designed as more than a dining destination, it is a vibrant hub where gastronomy, design, and entertainment converge, creating an atmosphere of creativity and connection.
About the Project
The Hub by Social was envisioned as an immersive culinary haven. The space celebrates diversity through eight distinct kitchen concepts, each offering its own story and flavors:
Arabic Kitchen – rich with aromatic spices.
Italian Kitchen – transporting guests to the Mediterranean.
Indian Asian Kitchen – full of intricate, layered tastes.
Burger Kitchen – gourmet takes on a global classic.
Sushi Kitchen – refined artistry in every roll.
Pastry Kitchen – indulgent desserts and sweet delights.
All-Day Dine-In & Caffe – a space to linger over coffee and comfort dishes.
This multi-culinary concept allows visitors to embark on a gastronomic adventure, where every bite celebrates creativity and flavor.
The design embodies modern industrial chic, with natural wood counters, dark grey metals, terrazzo marble, and touches of greenery. A central indoor tree bathes in sunlight from the open ceiling, anchoring the space with calm energy.
The experience unfolds across two levels:
Ground Floor – a vibrant food hall atmosphere, art-filled communal areas, and terraces that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor dining.
First Floor – a playful social space with arcade games, pool, darts, retro consoles, and a shisha area, designed to extend the experience beyond food into entertainment.
Accents of soft purple lighting, curated art pieces, and thoughtful material finishes create a harmonious, timeless ambiance.
The Hub by Social is more than dining—it’s an exploration. Guests move between flavors, cultural design, and playful moments. From sipping coffee on the terrace to discovering new cuisines or challenging friends at retro arcade games, it is a destination that feels dynamic, layered, and always engaging.
